Week 1: Discover
Welcome to DIVE Week 1 - Discover!
By the end of this week, we hope you will be able to ask a meaningful question and explore the necessary background to frame your experiment.
To complete Week 1:
1) Watch the four asynchronous videos.
2) Attend the live orientation session on Google Meet on Thursday, July 16 from 7:00-8:15 pm EDT, if you are available.
3) Complete the Week 1 assignment by Sunday, July 19 at 11:59 pm EDT and submit your response to Google Classroom.
Week 1 Assignment
Based on the live session’s topic (see below), identify a knowledge gap that is of interest to you and write a few sentences about why it is important. In addition, identify at least one research paper that is relevant to your question.
Thanks to all the groups who presented at the live session! We selected the topic novel technologies (including AI) to diagnose pediatric brain tumors given their unique and challenging localization near the brainstem.
